EZGO TXT Alltrax 650A 5.5kW DC to AC Conversion Kit

Replace the tired DC drivetrain in your E-Z-GO TXT with a full AC drive system — the Alltrax AC1 650 amp controller paired with a 5.5 kW AC motor. You get far more torque off the line, real hill-climbing ability, a higher and fully programmable top speed, and regenerative braking that holds the cart back downhill instead of letting it run away. AC drive also runs cooler and quieter than a brushed DC motor and has no brushes to wear out.

Tune it from your phone. The Alltrax Bluetooth interface lets you set speed and torque presets and adjust regen from an iPhone, Android or laptop, and the controller calibrates the throttle automatically on first power-up.

Does this kit include the motor?

Yes. This is a true DC-to-AC conversion and the 5.5 kW AC motor is in the box. If your cart already has an AC motor and you only need a controller, look at our Alltrax AC controller kits instead.

Will it fit my cart?

It is built for the 48 V TXT. Confirm your model and year, and use our Shop by Cart selector. If you are not sure, contact us with the make, model, year and the part number on your existing controller and we will confirm fit before you buy.

How fast will it go?

That depends on your gearing, tyre diameter and pack voltage, not on the controller alone. The kit is programmable, so you set the limit you want rather than being stuck with a factory cap.
