EZGO RXV Alltrax 650A AC Controller Kit — Replaces the Danaher 23-Pin

Your RXV is already an AC cart. This is not a DC-to-AC conversion — it is a controller upgrade. It replaces the factory Danaher 23-pin controller and runs your existing factory AC motor, so you get the performance without buying a motor you do not need.

What changes is everything the factory controller held back: 650 amps instead of the stock limit, a higher and fully programmable top speed, stronger torque and hill-climbing, and regenerative braking you can actually adjust. Set speed and torque presets and tune regen over Bluetooth from an iPhone, Android or laptop. Throttle calibration is automatic on first power-up, and a built-in fan keeps it cool under load.

Frequently asked questions

Which RXV controller do I have — Danaher or Curtis?

Count the pins on the connector. This kit is for the 23-pin Danaher controller. If yours has a 35-pin connector it is the Curtis, and you need the 35-pin Curtis version instead. Getting this wrong means the harness will not plug in, so check before ordering — or send us a photo of the connector and we will tell you.

Do I need a new motor?

No. The RXV left the factory with an AC motor and this controller drives it. That is why this kit costs considerably less than a DC-to-AC conversion.

Will I need a bigger battery pack?

At 650 A the controller can ask for more current than a tired lead-acid pack will deliver. If you want the full benefit, pair it with one of our lithium battery packs.
