Hi-Power HP48-200Ah — 48V 200Ah Lithium Battery
Charger included. The size most people actually want: 200 Ah — 9,600 Wh in the same 25.2" footprint as our 160 Ah pack, at 88 lb, replacing a whole lead bank of six or eight batteries — and it ships with a matched lithium charger, so there is nothing else to buy.
All 200 Ah is usable, where a lead bank is normally held to about half its rating. It holds voltage under load rather than sagging, and recharges at up to 120 A. 250 A continuous / 800 A peak gives a 600 A AC drive the headroom to take what it asks for on a climb, with range left at the end of the day.

Marine and electric propulsion
48 V nominal (54.6 V at full charge), 250 A continuous, and series-capable to 96 V for inboard pod and sail-drive conversions — with a manufacturer series rating up to 144 V if you are going further. For an electric outboard or inboard, check your motor's voltage window at full charge and its peak current draw against the figures above. Send us the motor model and we will confirm this pack suits it before you order — we do this work on real boats and would rather tell you no than sell you the wrong battery.
Our 48V 100Ah pack cannot be series-wired. The 160 Ah, 200 Ah and 250 Ah can.
Frequently asked questions
Does it really come with a charger?
Yes — a lithium charger is included at no extra cost, so the pack is ready to put into service. The charger carries a 90-day warranty; the battery is covered for five years. If you want shorter turnaround we also stock Delta-Q QuiQ chargers we can program to the right lithium profile — this pack accepts up to 120 A.
160Ah, 200Ah or 250Ah — which should I get?
The 160 Ah and 200 Ah share the same 25.2" footprint, so if your bay takes one it takes the other and the 200 Ah is the better buy per amp-hour. The 250 Ah is a different shape entirely — wider and shallower — and suits boats and stationary installs more than carts.
What charger voltage does this pack need?
It is a 15-cell LiFePO4 pack, 48 V nominal and 54.6 V fully charged, so it needs a 54.6 V lithium charger — which is what ships with it. A 58.4 V charger intended for a 16-cell 51.2 V pack is the wrong unit for this battery.
Will it fit where my batteries are now?
It is 25.2" × 9.65" × 8.66". Measure your bay first, including clearance above the tray. Send us the opening dimensions if it looks tight.
Can I keep using my old charger as a spare?
Not on this battery. A lead-acid charger will not charge lithium correctly and can void the warranty — use the charger supplied, or a 54.6 V lithium-profile unit.
